Sandy's motivation to become a personal trainer was knowing that she could help someone transform into the best they could be, and see the change inside and out. She is a certified personal trainer through the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI). Her passion for fitness started at a young age and she has been working as a personal trainer at the YMCA for the past 4 years. Sandy encourages her clients using consistency, motivation and patience. She enjoys outdoor activities such as bike riding, hiking and golf. Her favorite post workout snack is a veggie and fruit protein smoothie. She loves to work out to the song All About That Bass by Meghan Trainer. Her favorite muscle group to work out is her core, which is the body’s foundation. In her opinion, the most effective exercise for the core is the plank, which also happens to be her favorite exercise. Sandy’s favorite motivational quote is, "Take care of your health now while you have a choice, versus later when you don’t."
