Preschool and Early Learning

Full-Day and Half-Day Preschool

Our Preschool program offers children the abilities to learn through play and to confidently explore and build a positive self esteem. Children's readiness for formal schooling is most effectively promoted by play experiences in which they feel the freedom to try out new ideas, practical skills and imitate adult roles. Children are encouraged to build social skills that help build upon negotiation skills, conflict resolution skills and building friendships. Our teachers are professionally trained and DCFS certified, with continual professional development to ensure the best and most current practices in the classroom.

Our Preschool curriculum promotes individual children’s growth through learning, exploration and creativity. We are proud to begin implementing the Creative Curriculum, which is fully aligned with state and national Early Learning Standards. The curriculum focuses on the interests of children, which creates the study topics of our lessons. Creative Curriculum promotes social, emotional and physical development, language, literacy, math and cognitive skills. The curriculum also includes science, social studies and the arts to develop the whole child based on their individual developmental needs Cooking, science experiments, Water recreation in the pool, exploratory art, gym time and learning with technology are among some of the activities that are a part of our curriculum.

We strive to form partnership with every family. These partnerships are based on mutual trust, understanding, respect and common goals.

Our full day and half day program options give children an opportunity to fully engage and explore in a child centered environment that supports the unique needs of each child.
