Summer Overnight Camp
Kids explore nature, find new talents, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories.
Camp Duncan gives children ages 7-15 a safe environment to be challenged to master the high ropes course or to improve their swimming skills. With the great outdoors as a background, staff design activities to teach life lessons like persistence in completing a difficult task, creativity when solving problems, and working together to achieve a common goal.
The cabin experience shows children how to live cooperatively by sharing chores and respecting each other’s differences. Around the campfire, campers are encouraged to tell stories and share their opinions, and be open-minded and supportive as they listen to others.
Children live in cabins with restroom facilities located nearby. Campers are grouped according to age and gender with 10-14 other campers and one or more counselors. Always under the supervision of our staff, campers choose and attend activities according to their interests.
