December 22, 2016
Parents, are your girls (ages 5-12) interested in learning about hockey? Join us on Friday, December 23, 2016, at the Elmhurst YMCA for a fun event with hockey training and discussions — and meet former U.S. Olympians. Get all your questions answered about the sport and learn new techniques from experts.
You’ll meet Kendall Coyne, member of the Northeastern Huskies hockey team and former Team USA silver medalist at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Annie Camins, former captain of the University of New Hampshire’s Wildcats and 1998 Olympic Hockey Team finalist will also be there along with Laura Jordan and Samantha Ratty of the Blackhawks Fan Development team.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. and is $25 for members and non-members. Start the program with a discussion about the sport with Kendall Coyne and Annie Camins at 9:45 a.m. and then move on to the drills and training from 10 to 10:50 a.m.
Remember to bring your helmet, hockey or winter gloves, hockey stick and ice skates!
