Stop Wishing and Start Doing With the Y’s “Active8 Challenge”

Join us for our annual 8-week weight loss challenge with check-ins, email support, and prizes!"

The YMCA's annual 8-week ACTIVE8 Weight Loss Challenge is the best way to get fit for the New Year. To help you stop wishing and start doing, we provide you with weekly inspirational emails detailing fitness and nutrition education. All participants that complete the challenge will receive a prize, and winners will receive YMCA program vouchers.

The Association-wide challenge runs January 14 – March 10, and registration opens December 11. Details vary depending on which membership center you participate with, so find your Y in one of the tiers below. Orientation Week and initial weigh-ins begin January 7. Final weigh-ins and winners will be announced March 11-16.

Tier 1

Participating centers:

The overall female and male winners will receive a $25 YMCA program voucher (winners based on percentage of body weight loss).
